Udhayam Women Federation Trust (UWFT) was established and registered in February 2022. Works hand in hand as joint venture with CMSSS with ideology to improve the economic conditions of vulnerable and marginalised women. The core function of the program is to assist socio-economic support irrespective of class, caste, creed, language and religion.

GOAL

Build sustainable economic development among the vulnerable and marginalised women

OBJECTIVES

  • To bring social change in women for their all-round betterment.
  • Enabling self-employment opportunities by promoting income generation activities 

Operational Areas:

Coimbatore, Avinashi, Pollachi, Kinathukadavu, Anaimalai, Valparai & Mettupalayam

ACTIVITIES

  • Women Self -Help formation 
  • Capacity Training on Income Generation Program for SHG Members 
  • Book keeping Training for SHG Members 
  • SHG Income generation Activities  
  • Financial support for small-scale business, like petty shop, agriculture, milch animal etc. 
  • Financial support towards renovation of home and sanitation, children education and healthcare
