About the Commission

The health commission is a wing of Tamil Nadu Bishop’s Council. The initiatives enable a healthy society by creating awareness on health education. Organize health awareness programs and free medical camps with the support of diocese. Offers yoga and meditation exercise and prepare mentally. Personality development were given to set their future goals. 

Vision

Next generation will be a healthy and protective with leading their life in a healthy environment

Activities 

• Health education was provided about hygiene and disease prevention
• Awareness was created through films to change their future which was being lost by mass media
• Awareness through short films in order to provoke thoughts and to deviate from bad habits and wrong ways.
• Personality Development, Obedience Feedback is given to set future goals
• Yoga and meditation exercises were offered

• Visiting and assisting bed-ridden patients at the stay sites 
• Organizing medical camps and health awareness activities at the Diocesan level
• Celebrating Global well-being days like World Health Day, World Elderly Day and World Sick Week
